Mr. Alok Kala
Editor & Publisher, Gem And Jewellery Information Centre – Alok Kala is an industry veteran with over 40 years of experience in content writing and publishing. Based in Jaipur, he spearheads Diamond World, the Journal of Gem & Jewellery Industry, and Indian Jeweller.
He has published several industry directories, including Diamond Handbook of India, Diamond Handbook of Surat, Indian Jeweller, Colored Gemstones Handbook of India, and IJ Jewellery Sourcing Directory.
He participates in global gem and jewelry trade events in Israel, Sri Lanka, Hong Kong, Bangkok, Japan, USA, Brazil, UK, Belgium, France, and more. Beyond publishing, he is actively involved in philanthropy and industry associations.
Mr. Arpit Kala
Arpit Kala is the third-generation leader in the family business. Joining Diamond World Magazine in 2008, he introduced new verticals and pioneered India's first online diamond marketplace.
Under the IJ banner, he launched impactful initiatives like IJ Design Awards, IJ Knowledge Forum, and COUTURE India (est. 2016), now a benchmark for jewelry exhibitions in India.
His commitment to innovation and market foresight continues to shape JH Group’s leadership in India’s gem and jewelry industry.
